I first took to the mat in 2010 as a way to complement my running routine and relieve a little stress. It didn’t take long to notice the overall benefits. My overactive mind was calmer, my body felt stronger, I was less reactive, and had a more positive perspective. Needless to say, I was hooked.
After 4 years of steady practice, the first half of 2014 was spent obtaining my 200-hour certificate from Spirit Yoga in Pacific Beach. I went on to teach full-time studio and corporate classes, manage Elite Yoga in La Jolla and Carmel Valley, lead workshops and a 200-hour teacher training.
Currently, I teach Tuesdays at 7pm at Reach Yoga in Pacific Beach.
